“The Mongolian Stock Exchange conducted training on custodian banking services in conjunction with the London Stock Exchange at Branch no.2 of Golomt bank on October 12, 2011. Representatives from the world’s major investment banks such as JPMorgan and BNP Paribas gave presentations regarding the concept and development of custodian banking services in Mongolia. The introduction of custodian banking services in Mongolia will enable trade clearing and settlement procedures in line with established practices of international exchanges and ensure client asset safety when international investors trade in domestic markets and vice versa.”
